  1. Hey ben, some nice stuff from up there. I’m jealous, never got this much rain or activity the three years I was up there!! Who you working with? I also got the crook back fever again…..pain in the arse!

    • Thanks Jamie. I am making the most of it at the moment I just wish I did have to start work so early so I could get out and take some shots as the sunrises have been spectacular.
I work for a company called Calibre, we have some work at the 7 mile yard if you know where that is? Then I may be going to Cape Lambert……
I feel for you with the back I think it has to be one of the hardest things to put up with and to manage.

      • I think I’ve heard of calibre, just not sure exactly what they do? So what do you do? I used to hate driving out to the gas plant with cracking skies in the morning, but on you day off there was always nothing!! Make the most of it, and there’s another cyclone coming, so enjoy the conditions!!

      • Hey Jamie, Calibre is an EPCM company (engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management) like SKM and KBR. I do the last two as an electrical Supt.
Not to happy at the moment I dropped the 5D2 this afternoon and now I have moisture in the lens and in the body and smashed my polariser!!!!! I fly out tomorrow so I will miss the cyclone but I need to get the 5D2 to a doctor!!!!!
